Does Aeqium charge an implementation fee?

What implementation includes

Implementation is part of your annual subscription. It covers onboarding sessions with your team, importing your employee and compensation data, setting up your HRIS, payroll and equity integrations, and configuring your first comp cycle to match your existing process.

There is no separate charge for any of it: no implementation fee, no configuration fee, no professional services engagement, and no training fee.

How long it takes

Budget four to six weeks from kickoff to running your first cycle. The technical integration itself is typically a few hours of work. The rest of the time goes into configuring your comp logic, eligibility rules, approval chains and validations to match how you actually run compensation.

Faster is possible. The quickest implementation to date was eight days. That depends heavily on how ready your data is and how quickly your team can turn around decisions, so it is not what we commit to.

What your team does

Implementation is collaborative. Aeqium provides the onboarding sessions, the integration setup and a dedicated customer success contact who stays with you afterwards. Your team provides the data, the decisions about how your comp process should work, and the review at each step.

Most of the configuration decisions are yours to make, which is deliberate: it means you can change them yourself later without raising a ticket or paying for professional services.

What happens after go-live

Support continues at no additional cost for the life of the subscription. That includes your dedicated customer success contact, Slack and email support, and scheduled check-in calls, not just through the first cycle but ongoing.

Some third-party software directories list estimated implementation, data import, integration and training fees for Aeqium. Those figures are generated from category benchmarks rather than supplied by Aeqium, and they do not reflect what Aeqium charges. Implementation is included in the subscription.
